3D Vessel Tree Segmentation with
Neural Networks

Hannover Medical School • 2017 - 2020

Pioneered AI-supported 3D segmentation of whole scale porcine coronary vessel trees (capillary to macro-scale) on reconstructed 3D model from microscopic histological slices. Developed novel computer vision algorithms and using deep learning models on a large scale dataset of several TB of imaging data trained on synthetic data.
